In one of his 1980s "Driff's Guides", the infamous, almost mythical, bookshop reviewer Driffield described the original Book and Comic Exchange shop as having the "aura of somewhere out of a Jim Thompson novel". Since then, we have moved down the road (to 30 Pembridge Road) but have retained our extensive array of ever-changing stock and unique atmosphere.

New stock is added daily. Books and comics of every kind. From well-known titles to hard to find rarities.

We are always looking to buy new stock, over the counter from our customers. Cash or exchange. To avoid disappointment, especially if you are bringing a large amount of goods or are travelling a long distance, we always advise calling ahead on 020 7727 2040.

We are open 10am – 8pm, 7 days a week.
